The Beginning
In 1782, in the heart of Paris, Master Perfumer Jean-Baptiste de Vailure opened the doors to what would become the world's most prestigious perfume house. Commissioned by French royalty, he was tasked with creating scents that embodied elegance, power, and timeless beauty.
His first creation, "L'Essence Royale," became an instant legend among European aristocracy. It was said that Napoleon himself wore this fragrance during his coronation ceremony.
Modern Excellence
Today, Vailure continues this legacy under the guidance of our eighth-generation Master Perfumer, Amélie de Vailure. She combines centuries-old techniques with cutting-edge technology to create fragrances that honor our past while embracing the future.
